MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
Are you a mom looking for a connection with other moms? MOPS is a group for mothers of children birth through kindergarten to connect with one another and gain support through a faith-centered group experience. MOMSnext offers the same great connection opportunities for moms with school age kiddos. Moms at every stage of their spiritual or life journey are welcome. We meet at Avon United Methodist Church and have three options for groups:
- MOPS & MOMSnext: 1st & 3rd Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30am. MOMSnext will participate in the same curriculum as MOPS. Depending on the needs of the group, there may be some times MOMSnext will have a separate discussion table for those moms with school age kiddos to connect around topics unique to that age. At other times, the group will meet as a whole to allow moms with young kiddos to gain wisdom and encouragement from moms a bit further along on the journey. Childcare will be offered at this group.

Childcare is available for the Tuesday morning group, and the kids will have their own learning time full of Bible lessons, games, and lots of fun!
WHAT TO EXPECT
A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Plus, there's usually food, food you didn't have to prepare!
But more important, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.
WHO CAN COME
We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open.

HOW TO REGISTER
To register for the MOPS group at Avon UMC, you will need to become a MOPS member. MOPS Membership is just $31.95 for the entire year.
