General Guidelines due to Covid-19

Sermons are available in Video and Audio formats on our website.

In order to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are making changes to the way we worship and serve as a church family. Please stop by this website often for updates.

We continue to Serve

As Disciples of Christ, we are called to serve and to be the church. Even in these difficult times, we can share the Love of Christ. If you are healthy and would like to serve, please visit our Serve Page to check out the opportunities available to you.

Group ACTIVITIES May Be Scheduled

Thank you for your patience through the process. We have returned to scheduling meetings and activities indoors, and we ask that you respect and love one another as you meet together. Masks are strongly encouraged, especially when they help our friends feel comfortable meeting together.

If your group wishes to meet at Avon UMC, you must schedule for one of the following areas by contacting the church office:

  • Gathering Area (inside the church)
  • Barn (inside the barn)
  • Pavilion (outdoors, covered)
  • Fire Pit (outdoors, uncovered)

Due to the necessary and more rigorous cleaning guidelines necessary since the outbreak of COVID-19, the fees to use our indoor spaces may be adjusted. Thank you for understanding.

The weekly E-Notes are one of our main communication tools. If you are not signed up for these notes, please click this link to sign up: E-Note Signup

While COVID-19 has brought fear and despair to many, the resurrection of Christ renews our HOPE. Stop by our front yard for a free cross with the word HOPE painted on it.

We are making these crosses available, because we would like to send a little HOPE from our yard into our community, one cross at a time. So please take home a small reminder that nothing can steal our HOPE in Jesus!
