In order to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are making changes to the way we worship and serve as a church family. Please stop by this website often for updates.

What else can you do?
Our friends at the Commodore Cupboard continue to supply non-perishables and personal care items to our community. We will be collecting the following items throughout the week, please drop off in the container outside our East entrance:
You can also bring items to our Drive-In Worship Services in your trunk. Turn on your flashers as you park, and a member of our team will retrieve the items from your car. Thank you for your generosity!
As Disciples of Christ, we are called to serve and to be the church. Even in this time of Social Distancing, we can share the Love of Christ. If you are healthy and would like to serve, please visit our Serve Page to check out the opportunities available to you.
Thank you for your patience through the process. At this time, we have started to schedule limited groups for building usage. This includes some of the groups which were meeting regularly before the crisis.
If your group wishes to meet at Avon UMC, you must schedule for one of the following areas by contacting the church office:
Due to the necessary, and more rigorous, cleaning guidelines necessary since the outbreak of COVID-19, the fees to use our indoor and outdoor spaces may be adjusted. Thank you for understanding.
Pastor Micah's E-Notes are one of our main communication tools. If you are not signed up for these notes, please click this link to sign up: E-Note Signup
While COVID-19 has brought fear and despair to many, the resurrection of Christ renews our HOPE. Stop by our front yard for a free cross with the word HOPE painted on it.
We are making these crosses available, because we would like to send a little HOPE from our yard into our community, one cross at a time. So please take home a small reminder that nothing can steal our HOPE in Jesus!
