Emergency Response and Cancellations

Sermons are available in Video and Audio formats on our website.

In order to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are making changes to the way we worship and serve as a church family. Please stop by this website often, as we will be updating this page and our church Calendar nearly every day.

What About Sunday Services?

Food Collections

Our friends at the Commodore Cupboard continue to supply non-perishables and personal care items to our community. We will be collecting the following items throughout the week, please drop off in the container outside our East entrance:

  • Personal Care Items (deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, body soap, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, etc)
  • Canned Pastas (ravioli, spaghettios, macaroni, etc)Jelly and Variety Cereals
  • Things that kids can easily prepare.

You can also bring items to our Drive-In Worship Services in your trunk. Turn on your flashers as you park, and a member of our team will retrieve the items from your car. Thank you for your generosity!

We will continue to Serve

As Disciples of Christ, we are called to serve and to be the church. Even in this time of Social Distancing, we can share the Love of Christ. If you are healthy and would like to serve, please visit our Serve Page to check out the opportunities available to you.

ALL Group ACTIVITIES AT The church are cancelled

Thank you for your patience through the process. Also, be watching for opportunities that you can serve in these challenging times, provided you are healthy and available. Here is an excerpt from one of Pastor Micah's recent E-Notes:

  • "Every challenge is an opportunity. Christians are not the ones who cower and think only of ourselves, but we are people who stand on faith in moments like this, trusting in God and living our lives as a blessing to others. Stay safe, of course, but we as Christians have a long history of standing up in hard times and showing the love of Christ. During this challenging season, let us live into that history."

While COVID-19 has brought fear and despair to many, the resurrection of Christ renews our HOPE. Stop by our front yard for a free cross with the word HOPE painted on it.

We are making these crosses available, because we would like to send a little HOPE from our yard into our community, one cross at a time. So please take home a small reminder that nothing can steal our HOPE in Jesus!
