Building Habits of Faith
40% of our daily lives are habits. Through this sermon series in November, we will reflect on the nature of our habits and learn how to embed healthy habits of faith.
At 10:00 am, we meet in our sanctuary for worship. You are welcome to come just how you are to worship and everyone is invited. Our worship service lasts for about one hour.
Pastor Micah Holland started at our congregation on July 1st, 2015. He is married to his wife Jessica and he has two children. "What great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" 1 John 3:1
God loves us in an amazing way. At Avon United Methodist Church, it's our mission to help you connect with this loving God. Through worship, bible studies, service opportunities and more, we are continually growing as a faith family. Join us on Sunday morning to experience the warmth of our faith and the strength of our community. Everyone is welcome, just as you are, to worship with us.
Some people wear suits, other people wear jeans. You are welcome to come just as you are.
Our worship service falls more on the traditional side of worship. We strive to create a fresh environment of worship weekly using our historical tradition of worship to guide us.
For children 0-5, we have a infant room and preschool room staffed every Sunday morning for Sunday School. For children 6 and up, we start off in worship together and after the children's moment, kids are welcome to head out to their Sunday School Classrooms. Kids are always welcome in worship and the first Sunday of the month, everyone 6 and up worships together for communion.
Who is Jesus? What is the Holy Spirit? How can we have faith? These questions and more are answered through this great small group ministry. Contact the church office if you are interested.
